The Fort Davis High School tennis team dominated at the recent District Championship tournament, earning Overall Team Champion honors and taking home the title of Girls Division Champions, capping a standout spring season for the Fightin’ Indians.
Gracie Boultinghouse was crowned District Champion in Girls Singles, while the team of Chelsea Hernandez and Iliana Serrano claimed the title of District Champions in Girls Doubles. Their classmates, Neveah Sanchez and Hokulani Taylor, finished Runner-Up in Girls Doubles, securing a strong one-two finish for Fort Davis in the event.
On the boys’ side, Colten Gray and Jesus Ramos earned the District Champion title in Boys Doubles, with teammates Anthony Serrano and Daniel Lopez finishing as Runners-Up in the same category. Yasir Fierro took third place in Boys Singles, adding to the team’s point total.
In the Mixed Doubles division, Hank Pearson and Sian Chavez also earned a third-place finish.
With victories across nearly every category, Fort Davis proved its depth and determination on the court.
The strong district finish positions the Indians for continued success in regional competition and marks a major achievement for the Fort Davis tennis program.
