The Jeff Davis County Historical Commission will hold its next meeting on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at the Church of Christ Fellowship Hall.
The agenda includes updates on ongoing projects such as the Courthouse Photo Project, preservation of courthouse documents, and Sgt. Gonzales projects. Other items to be discussed include interior repairs to the courthouse, cemetery preservation, new historical markers, and county website updates.
New business will cover plans for a walking tour brochure, preservation of historical photos and documents, a preservation award from the Texas Historical Commission, and the installation of a William B. Travis Victory or Death plaque.
The meeting is open to the public, and public comment will be accepted at the beginning of the session.
