Fort Stockton ISD has officially announced the hiring of Coach DJ Howell as the district’s new Athletic Director. Selected from a competitive pool of 65 applicants, Coach Howell brings 24 years of coaching experience, including 15 years as an Athletic Director and Head Football Coach.
Throughout his career, Coach Howell has earned multiple Coach of the Year honors and built a strong reputation for leadership and program development. His passion for fostering excellence in athletics and mentoring student-athletes aligns with Fort Stockton ISD’s commitment to building a top-tier athletic program.
Coach Howell, along with his wife Allison and their family, is excited to join the Panther and Prowler community. FSISD looks forward to the experience and energy he will bring to its athletic programs.
