The U.S. Border Patrol’s Big Bend Sector recently hosted a Border Enforcement Partnership meeting, bringing together federal, state, and local agencies to bolster cooperation and communication along the U.S.-Mexico border.
According to the Border Patrol’s public statement, the goal of the gathering was to “enhance safety, share intel, and strengthen our mission.” The event underscores the agency’s emphasis on collaboration, with officials noting that “strong partnerships make strong borders.”
The Big Bend Sector, which covers over 165,000 square miles, continues to prioritize regional coordination to address the unique challenges of securing remote and rugged border areas.
