The Fort Davis ISD School Board voted Monday to appoint Ralph Traynham as the district’s new interim superintendent. Traynham previously served as superintendent for Fort Stockton ISD.
The decision comes as former interim superintendent Graydon Hicks remains on paid administrative leave. The board took no action regarding Hicks’ status during the meeting.
The move marks a leadership transition for the district, though questions remain about Hicks’ future with Fort Davis ISD.
