A major renovation is in progress at the Pilot Travel Center located at 501 Van Horn Drive in Van Horn. The privately funded $5 million project includes a full interior and exterior remodel of the existing facility, along with a building addition of under 1,000 square feet.
The renovation will update and expand the 10,310-square-foot travel center to better serve travelers along the I-10 corridor in Culberson County.
Pilot Travel Center #209 is a key stop for long-haul truckers and road-trippers alike, offering fuel, food, restrooms, and other amenities.
Construction is scheduled for completion by late August 2025.
