Big Bend Conservation Alliance’s River Rangers from Alpine and Presidio visited Sul Ross State University this spring for an educational experience focused on environmental science and higher education opportunities.
The visit included a tour of the university’s Range and Animal Science building and a series of presentations by professors and graduate students from the Borderlands Research Institute. Students learned about the degree programs offered at Sul Ross and heard from graduate students who shared details of their ongoing research projects.
