The site, managed by the Texas Historical Commission, was home to Joseph Magoffin, a four-time El Paso mayor and influential civic leader. Staff thanked Johnson for his visit and support, noting the importance of preserving the city’s heritage. The Magoffin Home remains a key piece of El Paso’s historical and architectural legacy.
