A Presidio County grand jury indicted Matthew “Matty” Gray, formerly of Valentine, on February 26 for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after police say he fired at a woman in a parking lot outside Marfa Open early August 7.
Security footage reportedly shows Gray urinating off the gallery porch, then firing at a white sedan that had just arrived. He allegedly fired three shots before being stopped by police, who found a pistol in his truck and used video to identify him.
Gray faces multiple charges and was released on $20,000 bond.
