History enthusiasts will have the opportunity to explore the stories and myths of the Davis Mountains during an author forum at the Jeff Davis County Library on April 5 at 3 p.m.
Local historian and author Larry Francell will lead the discussion, titled West Texas History: Fact and Fiction. Francell, known for his book My Summer Vacation: The Victorio Campaign Journal of Robert Grierson – 1880, will be joined by author Jason Stone, who will present his first book, Beauty of Days Gone By.
The forum will be moderated by Liz Rogers and is free to attend. Light refreshments, sponsored by Friends of the Library, will be available for attendees.
