Alpine High School competed in the UIL State Cross-Examination Debate tournament, with two teams finishing among the top competitors in the 3A division.
Chris Craver-Turner and Zane Wash placed 36th out of 59 teams, finishing the tournament with a 2-2 record. Hatfield Cason and Sye Behan secured a 3-1 record, finishing 19th and narrowly missing a spot in the octofinals.
The tournament marked the final season for seniors Hatfield Cason, Zane Wash, and Chris Craver-Turner, who concluded their high school debate careers with strong performances.
