First Baptist Church of Fort Davis will offer a seven-session ladies’ Bible study on Esther by author Kelly Minter, beginning March 18. The study will take place on Mondays from 10 a.m. to noon in the church’s Fellowship Hall.
The study, which carries a $20 fee to cover materials and video commentary by the author, explores the biblical story of Esther and Mordecai. Esther, a Jewish woman who became queen of Persia, risked her life to save her people from destruction. Her cousin and guardian, Mordecai, played a key role in guiding her and standing against injustice. Together, their faith and courage shaped the course of history.
All women in the community are invited to participate. Those interested can contact Cathy Rhudy at (432) 249-1611 or call the church office at (432) 426-3989 for more information.
