Sheriff Ronny Dodson and Brewster County deputies joined other law enforcement officers and emergency responders for BlueNIMS training at Marathon Schools on Wednesday.
BlueNIMS is a training program focused on the practical application of the National Incident Management System (NIMS) and Incident Command System (ICS) principles. It is specifically designed for law enforcement officers handling real-world incidents.
The training session was presented by Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Sergeant Rutledge and Trooper McConnell.
The Brewster County Sheriff’s Office highlighted the importance of the training in strengthening coordination among first responders.
