The City of Eagle Pass, in collaboration with Sul Ross State University, officially launched an accelerator program for the Main Street Incubator with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Tuesday, January 21. The initiative is aimed at supporting local entrepreneurs and business owners in launching and growing their ventures.
Designed to provide mentorship, training, and essential tools, the program leverages the expertise of Sul Ross State University professors and industry professionals to guide participants through the challenges of entrepreneurship. The partnership creates a dynamic environment where innovation and education come together, fostering meaningful growth for participants and the broader community.
“This is a tremendous step forward for our city and the region,” said Mayor Rolando Salinas. “By working hand in hand with Sul Ross State University, we are creating opportunities that empower our residents to pursue their entrepreneurial dreams and contribute to the vitality of Eagle Pass.”

The value that Sul Ross State University will bring through an accelerator program for the Main Street Incubator will serve as a catalyst for economic development, benefiting not only individual businesses but also the entire Eagle Pass community.”
