Presidio High School’s varsity girls basketball team showcased their skills and teamwork at the recent Monahans Invitational Tournament, achieving significant victories against formidable opponents. Under the guidance of Coach Barriga and Coach Samaniego, whose photography captured the thrilling moments, the team secured wins in a series of challenging matchups.
In a nail-biting game against Monahans, the Presidio team clinched a close victory with a final score of 34-32. The intensity continued as they faced San Angelo Lake View, where Presidio dominated the court, ending the game with a convincing 51-40 win. The victories mark a significant achievement for the Presidio ISD girls’ basketball program, reflecting the hard work and dedication of the players and coaching staff.
