Fort Davis Education Foundation Continues to Enhance Local Schools Through Grants

The Fort Davis Education Foundation remains a pivotal force in fostering educational growth and innovation in local schools through its ongoing classroom grant program. Teachers in Fort Davis have the opportunity to apply for grants in three cycles each academic year, enhancing their educational offerings with a variety of resources and activities.

These grants have historically funded a diverse array of projects and needs, from installing new stage lighting in the high school auditorium and purchasing costumes for the Ballet Folklorico dance group, to equipping every classroom with smart boards to make learning more interactive. The grants have also supported the 4-H program with necessary equipment, showcasing the Foundation’s commitment to enriching both academic and extracurricular learning environments.

As the year draws to a close, the Fort Davis Education Foundation highlights the opportunity for community members to make a tax-deductible End-of-Year Donation. Contributions from donors are crucial, as they directly fund the classroom grants that have brought substantial improvements to local schools.
