Congratulations are in order for the Alpine FFA team, which had a standout performance at the recent Big Bend FFA District Contest. The team showcased their skills and dedication, earning top honors in several categories.
The District FFA Skills Demonstration team, comprising Sophie Janis, Reese Coleman, Kylie Maroney, and Evelyn Smith, clinched first place. Similarly, the Greenhand Skills Demonstration team, featuring Kacey Hawkins, Collette Fowlkes, and Abby Bruttomesso, also secured a first-place victory.
In individual achievements, Mason Dove proudly represented Alpine with a 5th place finish in the Senior Creed category. Both the District and Greenhand skills teams have advanced and will compete in the upcoming Area II competition this Saturday in Ira, TX.
