Spooky Cinema and Serene Strings: Davis Mountains State Park Hosts Two Unique October Events

Davis Mountains State Park is set to captivate visitors with two exciting events at the end of October, offering a mix of eerie entertainment and soothing melodies without any entrance fees.

Halloween Movie Night and Bat Talk: First up on Monday, October 28th, the park’s amphitheater will transform into a festive venue for a Halloween movie night featuring a spooky film and a fascinating talk about bats. Guests are invited to enjoy the cinematic experience under the stars starting at dusk, complete with complimentary popcorn. This family-friendly event requires no reservations—just show up and enjoy!

Cielo Trio Concert at Indian Lodge: Continuing the festive spirit, on Tuesday, October 29th, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., the historic lobby of Indian Lodge will host the Cielo Trio, a group of talented local musicians known for their classical prowess. The trio will perform a selection of classical pieces, providing an enchanting auditory experience within the lodge’s atmospheric setting. Light refreshments will be available to enhance the evening. While there is no cost to attend, seating is limited, and guests are required to register in advance to secure a spot.
