Ft. Davis Runners Shine at Marfa Cross Country Meet

Ft Davis runners demonstrated remarkable athleticism and team spirit at the recent Marfa Cross Country Meet, with several young athletes securing top placements and advancing to regional competitions.

The event was a showcase of talent from both boys’ and girls’ teams from Ft Davis. In the younger divisions, standout Giselle Ramos earned a third-place finish, securing the bronze medal for the girls. On the boys’ side, Easton Giambalvo raced to an impressive second place, earning a silver medal. His teammates, Jaxon Weaver, Asher Logan, and Liam White also performed notably, finishing in 5th, 7th, and 9th places respectively.

High school athletes continued the strong performance, with Gracie Boultinghouse securing 8th place, earning her a spot at the regional competitions. Jesus Ramos and Hunter Grado also qualified for regionals, finishing 6th and 10th respectively in the boys’ category.

The achievements of these young athletes highlight the strength and depth of the Ft Davis running program, reflecting the dedication of both the runners and their coaches. As they prepare for the regional competitions, they carry with them not only the pride of their school but also the support of the entire Ft Davis community.
