The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) is seeking a full-time Maintenance Specialist III to serve as Operations Ranger and Staff Safety Officer at the Big Bend Ranch State Park Complex in Terlingua. The position offers a monthly salary of $3,720.64 and the application deadline is November 1, 2024.

This role will oversee the maintenance of park facilities, vehicles, and equipment, including the trail system, campground, and visitor-facing areas at Barton Warnock Visitor Center. Key responsibilities include building maintenance, minor repairs, visitor services, and implementing the TPWD safety program. The position requires at least three years of facility, equipment, or grounds maintenance experience.
