Gunfight Erupts Between Armed Criminal Group and SSPE on Ojinaga Highway

Reports have surfaced of a violent confrontation between members of a criminal organization and elements of the State Public Security Secretariat (SSPE) on the highway leading to Ojinaga.

According to early reports, the gunfight involved a criminal cell attacking SSPE officers, triggering an alert and prompting a security response from government units at all three levels.

The shootout occurred near the junction of the Ojinaga and Camargo highways, with both sides reportedly using high-powered firearms in a remote desert area.

Units from the Mexican Army (SEDENA), the State Investigation Agency (AEI), and the SSPE are en route to the scene, though no casualties or injuries have been reported at this time.
