Position Overview:

  • Organization: PARKS AND WILDLIFE DEPARTMENT
  • Location: Texas-Toyahvale
  • Salary: $3,767.37 per month
  • Full-time position with 40 hours per week
  • Explore Texas with 10% travel

Qualifications:

  • Kickstart your journey with a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • No prior experience required
  • Hold a valid State driver’s license if driving is needed

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Fuel your enthusiasm with a Bachelor’s degree in Park Administration, Recreation and Parks, Public Administration, Wildlife/Fisheries Science, Natural and/or Cultural Resources Management, Forestry, Biology, Anthropology, Archeology, History, or related fields
  • Bring value with experience working with the public, in leadership roles, or in revenue/budget management

Skills and Abilities:

  • Master park operations, natural and cultural resource management, financial practices, and HR procedures
  • Command MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Perfect your communication – verbal and written
  • Exceed customer service expectations
  • Manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and forge lasting work relationships
  • Ignite curiosity through educational and interpretive programs for diverse audiences
  • Thrive in outdoor environments and perform manual labor
