The Presidio Independent School District (Presidio ISD) is basking in the glory of their talented cross country athletes, who showcased their prowess at the Odessa Cross Country Invitational held on October 5th. The event saw remarkable performances by both the girls and boys from Presidio ISD.
In the Girls Class B Division 2, individual results stood as follows:
- Liyah Reyna secured an impressive 4th place finish.
- Sherlyn Herman showed her mettle, claiming the 38th place.
- Khloe Olivas closely followed at the 39th position.
- Gabriela Ornelas held a strong 49th place.
- Alyson Huitron demonstrated her skills at the 54th place.
- Grecia Carrasco rounded off the commendable performance at the 66th place.
The boys from Presidio ISD displayed remarkable determination and athleticism across multiple divisions:
- Eduardo Flores soared to a remarkable 2nd place finish in the Boys Class A Division 1.
- Sebastian Franco and Jesus Sanchez secured the 13th and 14th places, respectively, in the same division.
- In the Boys Class B Division 2, Bruce Levario delivered another outstanding performance, earning a 2nd place finish.
- Aidan Samaniego and Cristobal Zuniga showcased their talents at the 9th and 10th places.
- Jose Bustamante and Jose Dominguez continued the impressive run, securing the 14th and 18th places, respectively.
- Carlos Rivera, Santiago Ramirez, Taro Gutierrez, Gabriel Salazar, Steven Bailon, Gerardo Fierro, Kaden McCall, Jayden Martinez, and Kelvin Valenzuela rounded off the team’s remarkable showing with their outstanding performances in various positions.
