The Presidio Independent School District (Presidio ISD) extended its heartfelt gratitude on their Facebook page to Porter’s Grocery Stores for their generous donation of 144 Solar Eclipse Glasses. This thoughtful contribution is set to benefit students as they prepare to witness the upcoming solar eclipse on October 14th.
The donation was made possible through the efforts of Porter’s Representative, Izmir Bustamante, who worked in coordination with the Presidio Elementary School Administrative Assistant, Samuel Carrasco. This collaborative effort between the local business and the educational institution reflects a commitment to enriching the learning experiences of the students within the community.
