Annual Car Enthusiast Event Gears Up for a Thrilling Weekend of Scenic Cruises, Charity, and Community Support
The engines roared and tires screeched as The Big Bend OctaneFest revved into action on Friday, October 6, 2023, at The Stable Performance Cars in Alpine, Texas. This highly-anticipated annual event, organized by Big Bend OctaneFest in collaboration with Paul Woeppel and Austin Maness, has quickly become a must-attend gathering for car enthusiasts, offering a unique blend of automotive camaraderie and community support.
From its humble beginnings with just 40 cars in 2019, the festival has grown exponentially, boasting an impressive lineup of 75 cars in 2022 while raising over $17,000 in charitable donations for the local community.
The Big Bend OctaneFest spans three action-packed days, promising attendees a thrilling automotive experience against the backdrop of Alpine’s breathtaking scenery. The festivities began on Friday with a warm welcome and meet-and-greet session, allowing participants to connect and share their passion for all things automotive.

Optional lunch BBQs offer participants a chance to refuel before continuing their journey, and a car show dinner promises a feast for both the eyes and taste buds. The event concludes on Monday, October 9, with a final cruise and departure, leaving car enthusiasts with unforgettable memories of the Big Bend OctaneFest.
For those eager to participate, early bird registration for drivers is priced at $200, with late registration at $225. This fee includes vehicle door and windshield decals, an event T-shirt, access to the Friday Meet & Greet, Sunday’s car show and dinner, administrative costs, and a donation to charity.
Passenger or navigator registration is also available, starting at $100 for early birds and $125 for late registration. This registration fee includes the event T-shirt, access to the meet and greet, car show, dinner, administrative expenses, and a charitable contribution.
