Alpine Child Development Center Opens Enrollment for 2023-24 School Year: New Center Boosts Community with 50 Licensed Child Care Spots

The Alpine Child Development Center (ACDC) announced that it is now enrolling children aged 6 weeks through 3 years old for the upcoming 2023-24 school year, in a much-anticipated development for the community.

The new child care center, operated by Alpine ISD, will bring 50 new licensed child care spots to the community. The focus of the center is on nurturing growth, flourishing, and reaching full potential for each child. Parents and caregivers are looking forward to what ACDC has described as a nurturing environment for the youngsters, fondly referred to as the ‘Lil Bucks.

Final pictures of the new Child Development Center will be released later this week, but sneak peeks were offered to give the community a glimpse of the new facility. Registration forms and more details about the center are available at alpine.esc18.net/childcare.

The Center is scheduled to open its doors in mid-August, making it a timely addition as families prepare for the new school year. Any questions regarding the center or the enrollment process can be directed to ACDC Director Chelsea Craddock (ccraddock@alpineisd.net) or ACDC Assistant Director Alayna Ramirez (aramirez@alpineisd.net).

The community expressed excitement about welcoming the ‘Lil Bucks into the Fightin’ Buck family. Special thanks were given to the center’s partners at Borderplex Workforce Solutions and the Texas Workforce Commission for grant funding that made this community program possible.

The initiative of ACDC marks a significant step in providing quality child care within the community, aligning with Alpine ISD’s commitment to education and child development. With the hashtag #GoBucks #TheBestWorkingTogether #BuckBrilliance, Alpine ISD encapsulates the spirit of community collaboration and excellence that the new Child Development Center symbolizes.
