Marfa Independent School District coaches were treated to a unique and informative experience at the Texas Girls Coaches Association (TGCA) summer clinic today as Olympic softball superstar Cat Osterman took center stage. The decorated USA Olympic medalist provided an in-depth lecture discussing key pitching techniques and specialized skills training for softball players.
The Olympian’s appearance at the clinic is part of a broader initiative by the TGCA to enhance the standard of coaching across Texas by providing their members access to high-level training and learning opportunities. Osterman’s contribution, with her years of experience and a plethora of awards under her belt, provided a significant boost to this effort.
