Marathon Public Library Hosts Summer Speaker Series on Historical Postcards of the Mexican Revolution

The Marathon Public Library is proud to announce the continuation of its Summer Speaker Series with an upcoming presentation by Matt Walter, Curator of Collections and Youth Programming at the Museum of the Big Bend. On Thursday, July 13th, at 6pm, community members are invited to join the event held at the Marathon Community Center.

During the presentation, Matt Walter will unveil a collection of rarely seen, hand-drawn postcards that depict daily life along the border and in the Marathon area during the Mexican Revolution. These historical artifacts offer a unique glimpse into the past and shed light on the experiences of individuals living in the region during that tumultuous time.
