The iconic La Kiva Restaurant & Bar in Terlingua, Texas, is back open for business after being closed for an extended period. Andy and Mallory Mundy, the owners of Long Draw Pizza, are excited to revive the popular establishment and have committed to maintaining its unique character and history.

La Kiva has been a long-standing pillar of the Terlingua community, known for its distinctive structure made of sandstone boulders and live music events. The Mundys have expressed their commitment to preserving the beloved bar’s history and character while adding their own touch to it.

Locals and La Kiva lovers the world over are invited to stop by grab a drink, and check out the newest version of their favorite Big Bend hangout. La Kiva will be “drinks only” for the first few days. Expect the bar and grill to debut its new menu when the kitchen opens in the coming days.
