The privately-funded construction project, which began on November 15, 2022, was completed in February 2023, costing an estimated $1,400,000. The new KFC location is designed to cater to the growing population of Fort Stockton and the surrounding areas.
KFC is a global fast-food restaurant chain that specializes in fried chicken, with over 24,000 locations in more than 145 countries. The company’s Original Recipe chicken, made using a blend of 11 herbs and spices, is its most popular menu item.
The new Fort Stockton KFC location is expected to create new job opportunities and stimulate the local economy. KFC has job openings for four positions at the new location, including Assistant Restaurant Manager, Shift Supervisor, General Manager, and Team Member.
