Marfa Film Shop Brings Film Photography and Processing to West Texas Community

Marfa Film Shop, a local film shop located in Marfa, Texas, has opened its doors to offer film and film processing to the West Texas community and travelers passing through. Privately owned by Sara Button, the film shop has made a commitment to keep film and cameras available in-store for local customers and travelers, instead of shipping them.

Sara Button, the owner of Marfa Film Shop, has been shooting film for as long as she can remember. Her love for film photography began during a middle school trip to Washington D.C. in the 90s. Since then, she has been passionate about film photography and the art of darkroom printing.

Marfa Film Shop aims to create strong bonds and relationships with the community by encouraging community interaction. By staying committed to keeping film and cameras available in the store, the shop hopes to promote local involvement in the art of film photography.
