Lucia in Alpine announces November specials featuring pumpkin ravioli, apricot cranberry crostata

Lucia, a restaurant in downtown Alpine, is celebrating November with two seasonal specials featuring autumn flavors, including a savory pumpkin ravioli dish and a fruit-filled Italian dessert.

The restaurant, located at 202 W. Holland Ave., is offering pumpkin ravioli with tomato cream sauce and apricot cranberry crostata throughout November.

The pumpkin ravioli combines a seasonal pasta favorite with a rich tomato cream sauce, offering diners a comforting dish suited to cooler fall weather.

For dessert, Lucia is featuring an apricot cranberry crostata, a rustic Italian tart combining the sweetness of apricots with the tartness of cranberries. A photograph shared by the restaurant shows the dessert topped with sliced almonds and baked in a golden crust.

Crostata is a traditional Italian pastry that can be prepared with a variety of fruit fillings, making it a versatile dessert for seasonal menus.

In addition to its November specials, Lucia is promoting its family-style catering services for gatherings and celebrations.

The restaurant offers a special catering menu featuring some of its most popular dishes, allowing customers to serve restaurant-prepared meals while spending more time with their guests.

The seasonal offerings arrive as Alpine enters the fall holiday season, when restaurants and businesses throughout the Big Bend region prepare for Thanksgiving gatherings and year-end celebrations.
