The Jeff Davis County Library will host a Trivia Night on Thursday, Oct. 1, at The Rendezvous in Fort Davis, with proceeds benefiting the Friends of the Jeff Davis County Library.
Trivia begins at 7 p.m. Teams of three to six people will compete through several rounds of questions read by a quizmaster. Participants may bring their own team or join other players.
The entry fee is $10 per team, and prizes will be awarded to the winning team. Smartphones are prohibited during play to prevent participants from looking up answers.
Organizers describe the event as a social competition in which teams record their answers on provided sheets before scores are tallied.
