Fort Davis Independent School District will invite students, families and community members to explore science, technology, engineering and mathematics during a STEM Night on Tuesday, Oct. 6.
The event is scheduled for 5 to 7 p.m. and is open to the community.
STEM Night will feature hands-on activities, interactive exhibits and student projects designed to give participants opportunities to explore science and technology concepts outside the traditional classroom setting.
Activities highlighted by the district include demonstrations involving engineering, technology, mathematics and science, with programming intended for participants of all ages.
The event also will give Fort Davis students an opportunity to showcase projects and share what they have been learning with families and other members of the community.
Fort Davis ISD is encouraging the public to attend the two-hour event and participate in the activities and exhibits.
