The Marathon Motel & RV Park will hold its final star party for two weeks Tuesday night before pausing the events as brighter moonlight limits views of faint objects in the night sky.
The motel said Bill, its astronomy guide, and the telescopes will return Sept. 29, when darker skies are expected to improve views of galaxies, nebulae and other celestial objects.
Reservations for Tuesday night’s event can be made at darktexasskies.com/reservations. The star party is subject to weather conditions.
