The Jeff Davis County Library will host a trivia night Oct. 1 at The Rendezvous in Fort Davis, with proceeds benefiting the Friends of the Jeff Davis County Library.
The event will begin at 7 p.m. and feature teams competing through multiple rounds of questions read by a quizmaster. Teams will write their answers on provided sheets, and smartphones will not be allowed during the competition.
Teams may include three to six people. Participants can bring their own group or join other players to form a team.
The entry fee is $10 per team, and prizes will be awarded to the winning team.
The library described the event as a traditional trivia night, or pub quiz, designed as a social competition in which teams work together to answer questions across several rounds.
