A new spot for wine, beer, coffee and nonalcoholic drinks has opened in Marfa, adding another gathering place to the city’s food and beverage scene.
Awesome Street Beverage Lounge is now open in The Lumberyard at 201 E. Dallas St. The business describes itself as a beverage lounge and is currently open from 2 to 9 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday.
The lounge serves beer and wine along with nonalcoholic beverages and coffee, giving customers options whether they are stopping in for a drink or looking for something without alcohol.
Photos shared by Awesome Street show the new space inside The Lumberyard, with exposed wooden roof trusses, a compact bar and an eclectic mix of furnishings. The business announced its opening earlier this month through its Instagram account, @awesomestreetmarfa.
The new lounge gives customers another afternoon and early-evening option in Marfa. Its combination of alcoholic and nonalcoholic offerings makes it a gathering place for people looking for anything from coffee to a glass of wine or beer.
