Tumble West Art Fest to bring 15 live murals, music and vendors to downtown Pecos

Downtown Pecos will become an outdoor canvas Oct. 3 as the Tumble West Art Fest returns with live mural painting, music, food and hands-on art activities.

The free festival is scheduled from 5 p.m. to midnight Saturday and will feature 15 murals created live during the event, according to organizers.

Visitors can also expect food and drinks, artisan and boutique vendors, live DJ performances, interactive art installations, do-it-yourself experiences and a gallery showcasing local artwork.

The evening festival is designed to celebrate public art while bringing residents and visitors into downtown Pecos for shopping, dining and entertainment.

Admission is free. The event is presented with support from Visit Pecos, Pecos Beautiful and the town of Pecos City.
