Davis Mountains State Park has recognized customer service representative Nicole Valdez as its June Employee of the Month, highlighting her commitment to integrity and service as she approaches her two-year anniversary with the park.
Valdez works in the park’s front office and was selected for the honor based on her daily embodiment of one of Texas Parks and Wildlife Department’s core values: integrity.
Park officials praised Valdez for her dedication to visitors and her contributions to the team, noting that she consistently demonstrates professionalism and dependability in her role.
“Nicole exemplifies one of our core values every day — integrity,” the park said in announcing the recognition.
Davis Mountains State Park encouraged visitors and colleagues to congratulate Valdez on the achievement as she nears two years of service at the Fort Davis-area park.
The park is one of Texas’ premier mountain destinations, offering hiking, camping, wildlife viewing and lodging at the historic Indian Lodge.
