The Marathon Public Library has raised approximately $3,400 through its spring fundraising appeal, library officials announced this week.
The funds will support the library’s programs, services and resources for residents of all ages in the Marathon community.
Library officials said this year’s campaign included new donation options, such as the PayPal Giving Fund, which allowed many contributors to give anonymously. As a result, the library may not have contact information for all donors and may be unable to send individual thank-you messages.
Despite that limitation, the library expressed appreciation for the community’s support and noted that the donations play a meaningful role in sustaining its operations.
Officials encouraged anyone who donated anonymously and wishes to receive updates or be added to the library’s mailing list to contact the library directly or sign up through its website.
