Big Bend Chamber of Commerce launches new website, urges members to verify listings

The Big Bend Chamber of Commerce has launched a new website aimed at improving how local businesses and community resources are presented online.

In a social media announcement, the chamber said the redesigned site offers a “better digital home” for the region and invites users to explore local attractions, events and member businesses. The site includes a refreshed layout, expanded visuals and an updated member directory.

Chamber officials are asking members to review their business listings in the new directory to ensure information and links are accurate. Requests for updates or corrections can be submitted via email to the chamber’s social media coordinator.

The organization also encouraged community members to submit upcoming events for inclusion in a public calendar and offered opportunities for businesses to be featured through scheduled onsite visits.

The new website highlights the scale and diversity of the Big Bend region, showcasing tourism, outdoor recreation and local culture across communities such as Alpine, Marfa, Terlingua and Lajitas.

The chamber said it will continue to maintain its existing web address during the transition period, with both the new and legacy domains remaining accessible as updates are finalized.

The Big Bend Chamber of Commerce promotes local businesses and economic activity across a vast area of Far West Texas.
