The Fort Davis Chamber of Commerce and Visitor Center is inviting the community to celebrate Cinco de Mayo with an evening of music, food and festivities on Tuesday, May 5.
The event is scheduled from 5 to 9 p.m. at Kelly Pavilion and will feature a variety of family-friendly activities, including a margarita contest, piñatas, lotería and prize giveaways.
Food will be available for purchase, with Poco Mexico serving fajita tacos. Complimentary chips, salsa and queso will be provided by Sky Island Taproom. Organizers noted the event will be free to attend, with a bring-your-own-beverage option available.
Live entertainment will include a DJ from Tejano Sundays, along with music from Puro Party Allstarz.
The celebration is part of ongoing efforts by local organizers to bring community events and cultural programming to Fort Davis.
