The city of Ojinaga will celebrate children with a community festival on Thursday, April 30, featuring games, music, food and activities for families.
The “Festival de las Niñas y los Niños” is scheduled to begin at 4:30 p.m. at the Municipal Plaza (Zócalo Municipal), according to promotional materials from the city’s 2024–2027 municipal government.
Organizers say the event will include interactive games, giveaways and entertainment designed to celebrate children and promote family-friendly community engagement. Attendees are encouraged to come dressed as their favorite superheroes.
The festival is part of broader Children’s Day celebrations traditionally observed in Mexico on April 30, honoring the well-being and rights of children.
City officials describe the event as an opportunity to bring the community together in a festive environment focused on youth and family participation.
