Regional music group Bandaoleros will perform Friday, April 10, at Billar Sport Bar in a fundraising event benefiting the Bomberos Voluntarios de Ojinaga.
Organizers say the event invites the community to “come, enjoy and support,” with proceeds from the cover charge going directly toward the volunteer fire department’s efforts to purchase a new rescue truck.
In a social media post, the department expressed appreciation to Billar Sport Bar for hosting the event and supporting its fundraising campaign. Officials said the new rescue vehicle would significantly enhance their ability to protect and serve the community.
The event is scheduled for Friday evening, with organizers encouraging residents to attend and contribute to the cause.
“Together we continue moving forward,” the department said in its message, emphasizing community support as key to reaching its goal.
