EPCC to host Marfa gallery founders for art entrepreneurship talk

El Paso Community College will host a conversation with the founders of Wrong, a Marfa-based gallery and retail space, as part of its spring arts programming.

The event, titled “Beyond the Studio: Art Entrepreneurs in Conversation,” is scheduled for Tuesday, April 14, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Valle Verde Campus, Building A, Room 1702.

Featured speakers Buck Johnston and Camp Bosworth will discuss building a creative business that blends art, retail and community. The pair founded Wrong in 2010 in Marfa.

According to event organizers, the gallery showcases a mix of artworks, including prints, wooden sculptures and textiles, alongside books and curated goods. It also hosts rotating exhibitions featuring artists from across Texas and beyond.

The talk is supported by an EPCC Faculty Spring Arts Festival Grant and the college’s Art Gallery and Art Department.
