The Fort Stockton Convention & Visitors Bureau will host its annual Cinco de Mayo celebration on Saturday, May 2, at the Pecos County Coliseum, featuring live music, folklórico performances, vendors and a car show.
The event is free and open to the public.
Headlining the celebration is Los Vendavales de Adán Meléndez, with additional performances by Generacion X. Ballet Folklórico Viva México de Esteban Puertas will perform at 4 p.m., showcasing traditional Mexican dance.
Activities begin at noon with vendors and a car show. Evening festivities will include a dance starting at 8 p.m.
Organizers said the event is designed to bring the community together to celebrate culture, music and tradition in Fort Stockton.
