35th Alpine Gem and Mineral Show Set for April 17–19 at Civic Center

The 35th Alpine Gem and Mineral Show will take place April 17–19 at the Alpine Civic Center, located at 801 W. Holland Ave., featuring dozens of vendors and a wide range of natural and handcrafted items.

Hosted by the Chihuahuan Desert Gem and Mineral Club, the three-day event will include more than 40 dealers offering items such as jasper, agates, geodes, crystals, turquoise, opals and fossils, along with beads, cabochons and rough materials. Attendees can also browse Native American jewelry, wire-wrapped pendants, mineral specimens, and items made from silver and gold.

The show will feature both indoor and outdoor exhibits, along with Texan art and other specialty items.

Admission is free.

Event hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.
