The Presidio City Council will hold a special meeting at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 7, at the Presidio Activity Center, where officials are set to consider a resolution opposing construction of a border wall in the Big Bend region.
According to the posted agenda, council members will discuss and potentially take action on adopting the resolution, which addresses ongoing concerns about border wall development in the region.
The council will also consider authorizing submission of an application for the Texas Department of Agriculture’s Downtown Revitalization Program for 2026.
The meeting will begin with standard procedural items, including a quorum check, the Pledge of Allegiance and public comments. Administrative updates will be presented with no action required before adjournment.
The meeting is open to the public and is being conducted in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act. A virtual attendance option is also available via videoconference and phone.
