The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department is seeking applicants for a full-time Custodian II position at Indian Lodge in Davis Mountains State Park.
According to the job posting, the role involves daily cleaning and housekeeping duties across guest rooms, public areas, restaurant spaces and storage facilities, along with laundry tasks and maintaining grounds for litter control. The position also includes preparing the lodge for seasonal events and assisting with basic maintenance and inventory management.
The job is based along Highway 118 North at the park and is a 40-hour-per-week position with varying schedules that may include weekends, holidays and nontraditional hours.
Applicants must have at least six months of experience in cleaning, housekeeping or custodial work and must possess a valid driver’s license. Preferred qualifications include a high school diploma or GED.
The hourly pay rate is listed at $17.88, and the position includes state benefits such as insurance, retirement plans and paid time off.
