The 35th annual Alpine Gem & Mineral Show will return April 17–19 at the Alpine Civic Center, offering a weekend of exhibits, vendors and hands-on activities for collectors and families alike.
Hosted by the Chihuahuan Desert Gem & Mineral Club, the event will feature more than 40 dealers showcasing a wide range of items, including agates, geodes, fossils, crystals, turquoise and handcrafted jewelry. The show will include both indoor and outdoor displays.
Organizers say the event is designed to appeal to both serious collectors and casual visitors, with interactive experiences such as geode cracking, jewelry-making demonstrations, guest speakers and rock identification opportunities. Activities for children will also be available throughout the weekend.
The show runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. Admission is free, and hourly door prizes will be offered.
The Alpine Civic Center is located at 801 W. Holland Ave. in Alpine.
